Poor Quality flash . Most disposable wedding cameras are used in doors at the wedding reception as the day moves on. Even if you disposable camera comes equipped with a flash it is unlikely to be powerful enough and is also unlikely to turn itself on automatically. This will result in a large number of black and wasted prints which you would have had to pay for. |
Modern digital cameras have powerful automatic flashes that usually automatically determine when they are needed. Many cameras also come with autofocus and auto red eye facilities that will improve the quality of photos. |
As you can see both photos were taken as dusk approached. The image on the left was taken with a disposable camera complete with built in flash. The disposable camera struggled to get enough light and the resulting photograph is very grainy and quite poor. In contrast the photo on the right taken with a traditional compact digital camera is well exposed and much clearer.
