After searching the market and trying one or two other Online Wedding Gallery services they could not find exactly what they needed to meet thier wedding photography needs. Peter and Adrian concluded they would develop their own wedding photogrpahy website and thus www.weddingphotoshot.com was born.

They wanted something that would not only allow them to host their professional photographer’s photos and any photos their guests took side by side, but would be easy for their guests to share, upload, download and print photos taken during their weddings.

Most of all they wanted a solution which allowed them to remain in control and be able to vet all the photos before they were displayed to the world, together with a service which would provided them with a great DVD, that they had custom built, to reflect the sequence of their days. Finally they wanted to retain all of the photos both their photographer and guest had taken and store them electronically.

One thing both couples found, was having both used disposable cameras at their receptions, both Peter and Adrian’s respective brides were very disappointed with the results.  They found that the quality was very low, particularly in the evening when most of the pictures were taken at the reception.  They also found that the overall cost when taking into account purchasing the disposable cameras, print development and then getting the photos digitised was very expensive.

So when launching Weddingphotoshot.com Peter and Adrian decided to include the hire of compact digital cameras as an option for their clients.

Initially they just wanted a service that would allow the official wedding photographer and guests pictures to be viewed side by side, shared and printed by everyone at the wedding  from anywhere in the world.  As with all things, the ideas flowed, their brides got involved adding more ideas, a modicum of design style and good taste and the end result being much much more than just another on-line wedding information portal and gallery site.
